Two thousand and SIX

Geez - I finally feel human enough to return to the blog world. I spent all day yesterday in my jammies cleaning up my long-neglected Yahoo! mail accounts and adding a whole bunch more porn to the collection! Yay!

The NYE party was fantastic - probably the best we've ever hosted. It was certainly a formidable mess too, and Joe was forced to kick the remaining revellers out the door at 8a.m. All that plus a noise citation from security, what other signs of a fantastic party to you need?

I was still wondering what happened to the no-shows. I found out yesterday from Bruce that Jerome had a accidental medical emergency on NYE - just his luck. I have yet to find out the details, but it sounds like yet another typical Jerome situation. That guy has had more misfortune in his life than the rest of us combined. Not sure what happened to others. I talked to Frank today and he said they partied so hard on Friday night that he didn't even do anything on NYE. No comment.

I am so blessed to have Joe. He planned and organized the party, managed all the food and drink during the party and did all the cleanup afterwards while I slept in a drunken coma. Jeez, I love that guy!

Today I'm back on eBay trying to win some cycling gear auctions. Here's hoping that not too many people are around today to submit bids. As well, I'm still surfing for cheap airfare to Texas. It's not going so well. The price is up another $30 from last week. Who the frick wants to pay $720 to Harlingen or McAllen? Even the flights to Houston are narrowing in on $600 a shot. Sheesh. I might wait a few more days, but if the price goes up again this week, I'll be forced to buy. Fuck.
